Homeschooling shouldn’t require you to be an expert in every subject your student takes, from kindergarten through high school. Esrala reads the book you bought and does the explaining: the definitions, the worked examples, the reason any of it matters. You stay the parent, not the lecturer.

Any curriculum you’ve purchased, as a PDF, Word document, or PowerPoint. A 500-page textbook is a normal upload.

How they test
Questions they got wrong feed the next lesson. A shaky idea gets taught again properly instead of assumed, before the next one is stacked on top of it.

After each quiz your student says how it felt. “Still shaky” slows the next lesson down and reconnects it to what came before.

How they’re doing on what they’ve actually completed. Useful, but on its own it would let one good quiz on chapter 1 of twenty read as 100%.

Every fact points back to your book. Slides and quiz answers cite the page they came from, checked against the chapter’s real page range before they’re saved. When your student asks “where did that come from?”, there’s a page you can turn to.
What a tutor costs, and what Esrala costs
A private tutor runs $50 to $80 an hour. One hour a week, for one subject, on someone else’s schedule, is $200 to $320 a month. Esrala is $99 a month per student, for every book you upload.
Every subject, not one
A tutor covers the subject you can afford. Esrala teaches every curriculum you upload: math, science, history, literature, at the same price.
There when they sit down
No scheduling, no driving, no missed session to pay for anyway. Your student opens the lesson at seven in the morning or seven at night and the tutor is already there.
And you stay the parent
You picked the curriculum and you read the results. What you no longer do is learn the chapter the night before so you can teach it.
It does not replace you. It replaces the evening you spend teaching a chapter you had to learn first, and the tutor you would otherwise hire for the subject you cannot teach at all.
English or Spanish, per student
Choose the language when you set up each student profile, and your own for the parent side. A household can have one child working in Spanish and another in English from the very same book.
The book stays as it is
Your curriculum can be in English while your student learns in Spanish. Esrala teaches its content in their language.
Everything, not just the menus
Slides, quizzes, flashcards, the audio lesson, and the tutor’s answers, all in the student’s language, with page citations intact. Change it any time from Settings.
Built knowing children use it
Children don’t get accounts
No student login, no student email, no password for a child to lose. Profiles live inside the parent’s account and are chosen from a picker.
Consent before any child record
A student profile cannot be created until a parent or guardian gives explicit consent. No child record exists before that, and none is created quietly in the background.
Nothing is kept by the AI
Every request is restricted to providers that keep nothing once they have answered and may not train on it. No ads, no advertising profiles, no sale of personal information.
You can see and delete everything
Quiz results, notes, chats, and uploads belong to your family. Delete a student and their record goes with them.
